For both countries, the best time to visit is between March and May (Spring) and September and December (Autumn and early Winter). This is because the weather during these periods is more favourable and allows for increased variety of activities.
- Spring offers mild temperatures, blooming rhododendrons, and clear skies, perfect for trekking and sightseeing.
- Autumn is the most popular season because of stable weather, vibrant festivals, and stunning mountain views.
It is also possible to travel outside of these times, however from June to August is considered the rainy season so you will have an increased change of rain, and from January to February can be cold, especially in higher altitude areas.
