In response to growing demand for nature-based, immersive travel, Walk into Luxury is thrilled to unveil a suite of new, private walking journeys through Bhutan and Nepal. Guests can expect private guided hiking, paired with world-class lodging and dining as they journey through the Himalayas. All walks have been tried and tested by the team at Walk into Luxury and can be tailored to the individual by the company’s specialist Journey Designers.
The land of Gross National Happiness, Bhutan, is a fascinating country filled with forested trails, hilltop monasteries and picture-perfect rural villages. Feature experiences here include the famed Tiger's Nest hike and Trans Bhutan Trail, and a special walk near Lawala Mountain Pass that ends with a private lunch setup in the forest overlooking Gangtey Valley. Guests return each day to exceptional handpicked accommodation at Amankora, And Beyond, COMO and Six Senses, among other renowned luxury brands featured.
“Bhutan is full of contrasts; it’s a hidden gem, seemingly untouched by the modern world, yet it is home to some of the world’s best hotels dotted among its remote valleys,” says Nikki King, CEO & Founder of Walk into Luxury. “It is the ultimate luxury walking destination.”

Nearby in Nepal, the Annapurna foothills and Mustang Valley - home to the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge - offer moderate walking based at unique mountain lodges including luxury property, Shinta Mani. For those keen to experience Everest, a heli-breakfast with a view to the world’s highest peak is a recommended option.
